Privacy policy

Delorin is a small team building an operations platform for trailer fleets. This page explains what personal data we collect through this website and what we do with it. The short version: very little, and nothing behind your back.
1. Data controller
Delorin, Denmark, is the data controller for the processing described in this policy. You can reach us using the contact details in section 9.
2. The data we process
Contact details you choose to share when you request a demo or write to us: typically your name, email address, company and the content of your message. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and operations. We do not process sensitive personal data, and browsing the site requires no account.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use your contact details to reply to you, arrange the demo you asked for and follow up about the private beta (GDPR art. 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request). Server logs are kept to run the site securely (art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest). We do no marketing or profiling, so none of this processing relies on consent.
4. Cookies
This site sets one cookie: a small preference that remembers whether you use the English or Danish version. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of any kind, which is also why you won't see a cookie banner here.
5. Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers under data processing agreements: Microsoft Azure for hosting (EU regions) and our email provider. Once demo booking opens, scheduling is handled by Cal.com on their EU-hosted platform. We never sell personal data, and we share it with authorities only where the law requires it.
6. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
We keep data in the EU wherever possible. If a provider transfers data outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is protected by the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent GDPR safeguard.
7. Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as we're in dialogue about the beta, and delete or anonymise it when it's no longer needed. If you'd like your details removed sooner, one email is enough.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to the processing, and receive a copy in a portable format. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
